Pipin Ferreras - Featured Speaker

World Champ Freediver, Cinematographer

Pipin is a world champion freediving record holder.  He appeared in the IMAX movie "Ocean Men".  He has 20 years of professional diving experience and over 500 dives surpassing the 100 meter mark.  He is an independent producer, cinematographer, and director with expertise in underwater films.

Joseba Kerejeta:
World Champ, Traveler, Philosopher

Joseba is the current World Champ, winning the 2008 Freedive Spearfishing Championship in Isla Margarita, Venezuela. He is a fireman in Spain and has occassionally taken time off to travel the world.  He crossed the Atlantic Ocean by boat and traveled from Alaska to Mexico by bicycle.  With dive equipment in tow, he has visited some of the most remote regions of the world, diving with the locals and immersing himself in their culture, as well as their waters.




Art Pinder:
King of Sling, Living Legend
Art started spearfishing in the 1930’s with his father and brothers. They used slings and were considered the best in the world.  Art led a colorful life -- he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, was a model, a pilot, a yacht Captain, a nightclub owner, served in the Coast Guard, and appeared on many TV shows.

Shark Wrangler, Swamp Explorer, Sculptor
